CLOS PINARA vineyard is located on 4 hectares of land at Fethiye and founded by Işıklar Holding A.Ş. and Chateau Kalecik Chairman and owner Mr. Rıza Kutlu Işık. The vineyard is located across Pınara Archaic City and at 800 feet altitude.

15.000 original French vines, which were imported from France, were planted into the vineyard on 2003. The Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Mourverdre, Syrah ve Grenache Noir types of vines were densely planted at 5000 vines per hectare and by using the Guyot Double pruning technique, the quantity is decreased and the quality is increased. The grapes, which are harvested at vintage, are transported with refrigerated trucks to Chateau Kalecik Winery at the same day and converted into wine by our French Specialist Jean-Vincent Ridon. CLOS PINARA(2006 harvest), which is produced of Syrah(25%), Carignan(25%), Mourverdre(20%), Grenache Noir(20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon(10%) grapes and only 1105 cases, is aged 18 months in French Oak Barrels, then bottled. Our wine is offered for sale at Likya Wineries cellars after being stored in Chateau Kalecik cellar.
